USA Rugby South has Created a Unique Partnership
To Support the USA Rugby Junior All American Program
One of the Panther goals is to create pathways and opportunities for our athletes to play international rugby at the highest level. Below is information from Coach JD Stephenson about the USA Rugby Junior All-Americans and Collegiate All-Americans programs.
The AIG Men's Junior All-Americans Evaluation Camp for the South is on December 2-4 at Life University in Atlanta, GA. All South players are encouraged to apply. If you are interested and have a 1997, 1998, or 1999 birthday, then please get nominated for their U20 team.
We have tried to ensure the scheduling of our events will not impact school days missed do our best to avoid conference play and championship events in which your respective programs may be involved. The schedule for the weekend is a 6pm arrival into camp on Friday and a 6pm (or later) departure time on Sunday. We will be having a light session Friday evening, two sessions on Saturday day and a match/scenario game on Sunday morning.

Additionally, the Collegiate All Americans process is about to commence in the same fashion as the MJAA with a ID camp set in January to run concurrently with MJAA camp at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. Those players who are outside the above age brackets but feel they could push for CAA honors should be looking for the nomination process coming shortly.
